ABOUT NIKKI
Food, health and a life that feels good to live.
I’m fascinated by nutrition, but I’m just as interested in enjoying delicious food, cooking, good ingredients, where food comes from and what happens when people gather around a table.
MY POINT OF VIEW
I don’t think eating well should become another full-time job.
We live in a world of nutrition noise: trackers, powders, protocols, hacks and endless opinions about what we should and shouldn’t eat.
I prefer something simpler. Real food. Plenty of plants. Variety. Cooking. Fermentation. Good ingredients. Sharing meals. Small changes done consistently.
HOW I GOT HERE
From fashion in New York to food and nutrition in Cornwall.
I spent years working in the fast-paced fashion industry in New York City, paying very little attention to my own health or wellbeing. Time out travelling gave me the space to rethink how I was living and sparked an interest in nutrition that quickly became something much bigger.
What began as curiosity became a fascination with the relationship between food and health - and with the question of why something so fundamental has become so confusing.
Today I work with individuals, businesses and communities through coaching, workshops, education and events, while continuing to deepen my study of nutrition.
WHAT MATTERS TO ME
Simplicity
Cutting through the noise and focusing on the changes that genuinely matter.
Real food
Plants, whole foods, good ingredients and the confidence to cook with them.
Enjoyment
Healthier food should still be generous, delicious and worth looking forward to.
Connection
Food is also culture, place, community and the people sitting around the table.
